Organize the picture

by admin on Sep.27, 2008, under Organizing

Pictures are frequently a part of the dresser area. Make sure the pictures match your color decor and are ones you want, not ones you just somehow got stuck with. Make sure they are properly placed. Many people place their pictures higher up on the wall than is attractive. If yours are too high, lower them. Study decorating magazines carefully for ideas on picture placement. It makes all the difference in the world. Inside the dresser drawers, use commercial dividers if the drawers are shallow enough for the low dividers found in most stores. If your drawers are deep, use shoe boxes to section off bras, panties, slips, stockings, and other paraphernalia. Nothing is more demeaning than having to hunt every day for enough clean undies to get dressed. Make it easy on yourself. Why let that aggravation
continue? It is just this kind of chronic frustration that starts draining your energy for the day. Take control of your dresser for your own self-respect. The same goes for jewelry. Your jewelry should be
stored so it’s very easy to put away and very easy to find and get out for wearing each day. This means we don’t put things like hairbrushes on top of the jewelry box lid, and we don’t put hairspray or books in front of the jewelry box drawers. Things like that make using the jewelry box difficult. If the organization setup is easy to use, you will use it. If your setup is awkward and requires work, it will grind to a halt and you will abandon it. Jewelry will end up piled in front of the jewelry box.
